Payments & Terms
These terms apply to payments made to Montevallo Consulting s.r.o., including payments made via individually issued payment links. For services and indicative pricing ranges, see Services & Pricing.
How payments work
We issue invoices or payment requests (payment links) to identified customers/participants. Each payment request states the amount, currency, and a reference/description (e.g. invoice number or registration identifier).
If you received a payment request by email, verify the amount and reference before paying.
Card payments
If card payment is available on the payment page, it is processed by our payment service provider. Supported card schemes may include Visa and Mastercard depending on the payer’s card and country.
Transaction currency
Transactions are processed in the currency shown on the payment request, typically EUR, USD or CZK.
Delivery / fulfilment
- Conference/workshop fees: fulfilment occurs by confirming registration and providing access to the event.
- Professional services: fulfilment occurs through delivery of agreed services and/or deliverables as confirmed in writing.
Refunds and cancellations
For conference registration fees, accommodation, and board, refunds are provided in the event of event cancellation or failure to provide the agreed fulfilment.
In other circumstances, refunds may be granted on a case-by-case basis at our discretion, taking into account the nature of the request and the extent of fulfilment already provided.
Payments for IT consulting services are due upon delivery of the agreed services or deliverables. Once the services have been fully provided, such payments are not refundable. This does not affect any mandatory rights under applicable law.
Refund requests should be sent to info@montevallo.cz and include the payment reference.
Buyer acceptance
By completing a payment, the buyer confirms that they have reviewed and accepted these terms and the applicable refund/cancellation policy.
Disputes and chargebacks
Card payments may be subject to the card network dispute process (chargebacks). We will respond with relevant transaction and fulfilment details where applicable.
Export restrictions
No export restrictions apply.
Data protection and security
We process only the data necessary to fulfil the transaction (e.g. payer name, reference, and payment status). Payment card details are handled exclusively by our payment provider and are not stored by us. See our Privacy Policy.
Payment data is transmitted using encrypted connections (TLS). We do not store payment card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive cardholder data.
